The idea of zeixtag was born during a relaxed after-work beer: it became a source of new inspiration and creative energy. Our workday was heavily dominated by client projects, leaving no internal space to explore and experiment. There was need for change.

Zeixtag is an internal day to provide a dedicated space for curiosity and creativity, aiming for new ideas to be developed. Over time, zeixtag has become a crucial and integral part of the company's culture, now held four times a year.

I was the initiator of zeixtag, sparking the idea and leading the efforts to bring it to life. Working with my team, we launched an internal platform as a source of inspiration for capturing and sharing new project ideas, education or even office structures. The main goal was the transfer out of an old and entrenched workflow into a creative and open-minded work environment.

The implementation of zeixtag has not only enriched our work environment but also brought us closer together and fostered a culture of continuous innovation.

newhome.ch AG, a leading Swiss real estate portal, has redefined its approach under the new ownership of the real estate industry and regional banks. With a fresh brand identity, newhome.ch aims to deliver an exceptional user experience, especially in an innovative and individualized property search feature and highly user friendly mobile application.

The core of the platform is its comprehensive guided search with map integration. Users can view search results not only as a list but also in a dynamic map view, making the search process more interactive and user-friendly. Additionally, detailed property pages with extensive image galleries and neighborhood searches help users make informed decisions.

In the fast-paced environment of an agency, as zeix AG, little time is dedicated to maintaining and organizing reference projects. These are crucial for creating proposals for new projects. Previously, these references were stored in Word documents and then transferred to the web by hand. To streamline and optimize this process, we developed ref.db.

The architecture of ref.db is built in an abstract framework, enabling the potential transformation of this internal project into a marketable product in the future. ref.db provides a feature for searching, adding and collecting references. Hereby, previous defined collections of categorized references (i. e. bank, government, healthcare) help to be effective in everyday administration. As an optional approach, ref.db might also be used for the automatic publication of references on the website of zeix AG.

By creating ref.db, we have not only improved our internal administration processes, but also laid a foundation for a scalable product for other agencies.

Swisslos, the Swiss lottery and gaming organization, aimed to develop an online sports betting service (Sporttip) that could compete with the established platforms abroad. During live betting, a large amount of data has to be updated constantly without compromising user experience with long loading times. The new web app should offer a much broader range of options compared to the existing services.

Sporttip separates 'sports betting' and 'live betting' into distinct sections, each with navigation tailored to the available scope of the betting options. On overview pages, users can compare betting opportunities across multiple matches and seek out the most lucrative odds.
